Ok 10 years ago today Scott and I were married in Marysville, WA (about 40 mins north of Seattle) - we found a unique location and did a dinner - theatre style wedding in a 1911 newly renovated Opera House. It was beautiful, we did a dessert like lunch with some other finger foods and had a program - including a slide show of us growing up and our courtship and another show for my dad to the music butterfly kisses.

Scott and I met on-line (when it was still new) in May, 1998 and had our first blind date the day before Mother's Day. We had our second date over Christmas and spent the week together off and on. New Years day we already knew we were meant to be together -
Scott was in KS and was moving to Nashville and I joined him in July and we flew back to Seattle to get married. Three weeks later we moved into our newly built house and we began our journey as a couple.

It definitely has had its ups and downs since we were older and set in our ways!!!
Along the way we have been blessed with 4 children from China, some cats, a rat and the odd bug. We have lived in TN, MO and now back in WA for our 2nd rounds here.

God has continued to be our focus and has held us up during those hard times. We are thankful to have each other and look forward to a nice get-a-way this month for the first time in 5 years!
Which is very much needed :-)
