So this is what you do with your time when you wait 1-1/2 hours to see Santa.
I decided to photo journal the journey - the kids survived and mommy and daddy were thrilled with the results (below) and glad it was over for another year!

11-13-07 Got called we were matched -
sent in more papers
11-20-07 Sent Madison 1st batch of paperwork & $$
11-28-07 Winston has surgery in China TOF
12-4-07 Homestudy interview and pmt
12-7-07 Updated Photo's from LWB
1-2-08 PA for Winston
1-10-08 Dossier State Certified in WA
1-14-08 Dossier Authenticated in SF
1-21-08 Canadian Birth Certificate
Authenticated in BC
1-23-08 Papers sent to DE
1-24-08 Dossier off to CHINA !!! (DTC)
1-28-08 Dossier at CCAA
1-29-08 Winston's 3rd Birthday
1-30-08 LID
Feb - constant updates on our guy
5-1-08 LOA !!!! (Letter of Acceptance)
5-2-08 officially got via DHL and sent back to DE
5- 08 Earthquake - many killed
5-21-08 China sent TA
5-23-08 MAAW got TA
5-28-08 We officially got TA via DHL
6-13-08 Scott and Jim leave for China
6-15-08 Gotcha Day - Father's Day !!
6-25-08 CA apt - US Embassy
6-26-08 PM - Swear In Ceramony
6-27-08 Come Home!!! - journey finally over

July 2006 Considered adopting two and not waiting
8/20/2006 - Talked with Small World about adopting 2
Waited until employed to start paperwork (which did 2x)
11/3/2006 - heard about upcoming files and 2 kids
11/3/2006 - filled out application and paid
11/14/2006 - was sent 4 files and picked 2
11/30/2006 - received updated medical on Taylor
12/13/2006 - CCAA new guidelines
12/14/2006 - was told no in getting Parker (boy)
12/16/2007 - Homestudy - Home apt
12/28/2006 - LOI sent (LOI - PA = 88 days)
1/26/2007 - got x-rays to be reviewed in TX
3/8/2007 - Ian's file was returned to China with our note
3/14/2006 - Fingerprints - drove to Yakima WA
3/23/2006 - got I-171H approval for fingerprints
3/26/2007 - PA - finally got (usually 6-8 wks...)
4/9/2007 - after many delays DTC
4/19/2007 - LID (10 days) - took a month to find out
6/14/2007 - Ian's file shows up at Small World ?
7/2/2007 - Appeal for Ian goes to CCAA
7/5/2007 - Hear that CCAA is not happy with appeal (NO)
7/16/07 - LOA !!! - receive on 17th - agency sends 18th
8/3/07 - TA !!!!!! - receive on 6th - waiting on CA
