Tomorrow is Surgery Day

Tomorrow afternoon is Taylor's surgery - please keep her in prayer.
Since she is staying the week she is now the last surgery not the first and we have to be at Children's at 1:15 PM -- Monday, Nov 2nd

6:30 AM she can't eat and at 10:30 AM no liquids

The surgery is 3-1/2+ hours long with two surgeons - Dr Song and Dr Waldenhausen (Seattle Children's Hospital)
They have made a custom titanium bar (VEPTR) with pins to be attached to Taylors breast plate and the longest rib on the left side. Once in they plan to add cable like bars to form ribs where there are none now on her left side.

Taylor was born with a rare condition called Poland Syndrome and is left side affected.

We ask that you pray for Taylor and the Doctors in this delicate surgery
1) All will go well and as planned
2) No complications
3) The pain can be very difficult for the first 3 days - be reduced and kept under control
4) That I (Lavonne) can be a source of comfort and constantly available to Taylor
5) That we stay healthy
6) Taylor starts to drink soon after surgery and stays hydrated
7) That November will be a good month for healing overall for Taylor

We will try and have daily updates on this blog.

Thank you
Scott, Lavonne, and Taylor (Reagan, Kaitlyn and Winston)
