Saying Goodbye but not forever!

Our kids joined us saying goodbye to Grandpa Stewart
Saturday morning at a graveside service in Lake City.
it worked out perfectly since i had to do a talk just before this.
4 years ago on Reagan's birthday Grandma Stewart died and we had been
home only 2 weeks with Kaitlyn. The family was able to meet her
in this not so good way. But for both kids they don't remember it.
This time they all knew Great Grandpa Stewart which Reagan's middle
name is after. They have spent the last 3 years getting to know him.
So the goodbye was a bittersweet one with many questions.....
Will we see his body, what does his soul look like????
These are good times to talk about our purpose in life and our destiny.
Overall they did well and for the most part at least the 2 older ones
understand now what this is all about.

I am so sorry. I am glad you brought your kids so they could say goodbye. My Chelsea was 3 at her grpa's funeral in 2001, Jesse was 3 at Chelsea's funeral in 2006. So important for kids to get to say goodbye...God Bless You!
