Snowing in Seattle?

Yes, it was a bit of a surprise yesterday as the snow really came down. Then we headed to our Bethany Christian Adoption Christmas Party up north... then you would have never known it had snowed. It was a beautiful overcast day - then on the ride back it was dry snow, wet snow and no snow.
We had 22 of Scott's family over for dinner since his Dad and step-mom where in town from VA. So we were not sure what to expect but the snow kept coming - most made it but a few had a bit of trouble getting down our hill. We had a great time together and lots of great food.
This morning we woke up to more snow and it was still falling. Now it is starting to melt away. We skipped church since we did not know if we could get down our hill...at least not in my van. So having a lazy day at home and soon will start putting up the Christmas tree and decorate the house. A perfect fit for the snowy days we have had.
A guess Christmas has finally arrived - Many of Taylor's firsts... snow, Santa, tree and decorations... she is loving it all and all the new cousins that kept her at full speed yesterday. She was all smiles :-)
